1. Be Nice and Polite
Every member deserves to be treated with respect. Positive and polite posts create a friendly and welcoming environment that all members will feel comfortable in.
2. Think Before Posting
Sensible, well thought-out and legible posts help other members understand what is being explained. Use the search function to check if your topic has been posted and answered before to avoid replication.
3. Post in Relevant Section(s)
Posting in the most relevant section will ensure threads are seen by members most interested in the subject. Threads posted in the wrong section will generally be moved by moderators.
4. Remain on Topic
Threads should remain on the topic that they are discussing. A new thread should be made for a new discussion. An exception build Chat Threads.
If a post needs Moderator attention because it breaks the rules, needs to be modified or moved please contact a Moderator via private message directly and provide related links.
1. Use Profanity or Post Inappropriate Content
As a friendly forum we require that all content posted on the forum is respectful, suitable for people of all ages, this includes words, pictures, videos and links / references. Any posts containing inappropriate content, objectionable language or profanity will be removed from the forum. Posts which antagonize, belittle or humiliate other members and/or the Moderators will not be tolerated, nor will racism, sexism, bigotry or foul language. We do not tolerate threats, harassment or defamatory towards players, posters or forum staff.
2. Flame, Provoke or Behave in a Malicious Manner
Do not insult or flame other members of the forum. Similarly, do not post with the intention of provoking a reaction from fellow members. This includes encouraging flame wars. Instigation is not tolerated.
Do not behave in a manner that can cause distress, harm or inconvenience to other members, staff or the forum itself. This includes, but is not limited to, discrimination, bullying, offensive material, breaching others privacy and accessing others accounts without permission.
A spam post is a post that provides no value to the discussion, or a thread that creates nuisance for others. Posts with merely memes or images are not desired.
Multiposting or flooding is not permitted, if your post is the last post in a thread and you wish to add something, use the Edit-function instead of adding another post after your own.
Disturbing threads by picking fights is also considered spam. Threads are considered spam when they are duplicates, created for the purpose to cause problems, or when they are devoid of any valuable content. Spam also includes unreadable posts, pure gibberish or posts which only contain emotes. Replying to spam is not permitted either!
4. Bump Threads
Posting in a thread only to bring it back to the front page of the forum is not allowed, a thread should only be on the front page of a forum if there is active discussion taking place. The only exceptions to this rule are service-, selling- or trading-threads in server sections (other exceptions need to be requested from a Moderator). However, bumping those is only allowed with a 24 hours posting break between each bump.
Posting in a thread that hasn’t been active within 30 days is considered necro-posting. Necro-posting is undesired, if you wish to bring up an old topic for any reasons, please ask a Moderator for approval first.
Advertising in this forum will result in an immediate and permanent forum account ban!
Commercial activities are not permitted, this includes a ban on the sale of accounts. Purchasing, trading and selling of IGG accounts is a punishable offence worthy of an immediate ban. Selling anything on the forum for real life currency is prohibited.
Do not use this forum to generate traffic or attention for any content non-related to Wonderland Online, links to personal websites and projects are permitted in signatures, as long as they are not breaking any other forum rules (e.g. include inappropriate content).
Any exceptions to these rules must be pre-authorised on a case by case basis by an Administrator or Moderator.
7. Spread Malicious Programs, Hacks and Cheats
Advertising, linking and the use of the above are intolerable. We recommend for you not to engage in illegal activity.
8. Mini-Modding and Backseat Moderating
Pretending to be or acting like a Moderator is unwelcome. We are certain that you know the rules and we are very pleased if you follow them. However, if you see a wrongdoing please contact a Moderator immediately instead of responding to such content.
Warnings and Bans
When a member breaks one or more rules, a Moderator will issue a warning. If the warning gets ignored or the member behaves in a similar bad way afterwards, Moderators reserve the right to give a one to three days account ban. Continued rules violation will result in a permanent ban. Advertising will deduce an immediate and permanent account ban without any warnings.
