Hello lovely WLO community :)
Since the new forum change , and I have been commenting on different posts , taking notes regarding the credits and rank updates , and I think I might have come to a conclusion , on how to update your rank , and how the new system works.
Basically I am sure you have all noticed that besides replying on the thread , you can now reply on a certain comment , I am sure that will save up the thread from being too long , and avoid confusion about people replying to certain people.
I have tested out , and got to a conclusion that any section in the forum , will help you obtain credits. yay =)

Before we start on how to obtain them , and how it all works , I shall give you a quick view on the ranks , and the required credits.

Newbie, already obtain this rank when you login.
Member, must obtain 50 credits.
Full member, must obtain 100 credits.
Senior member, must obtain 200 credits.
Gold member, must obtain 500 credits.
Veteran, must obtain 1000 credits. (Highest rank)

How the system works , is very easy.

First if you reply on a THREAD then you shall obtain 2 whole credits.
However if you comment on a REPLY , you shall only obtain 1 credit
CREATING a thread , you will obtain 3 credits.

Notice: If you are wondering why , your credits are less than 0 , example (-1) , It is because some of your threads were deleted.
Deleted threads = -3 credits. (Thank you Lady)
Taru " Okay, I just tested: You always lose as many Credits for deleting as you obtained, means if you get +3 Credits for opening a topic, you get -3 if your topic gets deleted.

If you get +2 Credits for a post, you get -2 Credits if just your post gets deleted, and so on"

Rank user permission (Credits to Ethan)

Just to add on some things, here are a basic list of permissions for each member group:

Users of Newbie/Member groups can:

1) Create threads
2) Upload images in posts
3) Reply to posts
4) Comment to posts

Users of Full Member/Senior Member groups can:

1) Do everything Newbie/Member can, plus
2) Use [img] codes in their signature.

Users of Gold Member/Veteran groups can:

1) Do everything Full Member/Senior Member can, plus
2) Create (don't ask me what's this feature supposed to be).

Also , beware that emoticons , fonts , colors , DO NOT work on the comments to replies , neither can you edit them
Thats what i have concluded, and I have tested it out , in many different sections , and many times to make sure.
Have fun commenting, and replying! Hope this helps :)

Just to add on some things, here are a basic list of permissions for each member group:

Users of Newbie/Member groups can:

1) Create threads

2) Upload images in posts

3) Reply to posts

4) Comment to posts

Users of Full Member/Senior Member groups can:

1) Do everything Newbie/Member can, plus

2) Use [img] codes in their signature.

Users of Gold Member/Veteran groups can:

1) Do everything Full Member/Senior Member can, plus

2) Create (don't ask me what's this feature supposed to be) polls. You earn 3 credits for creating polls, which is the same amount of credits as creating a thread. Do note though, that voting in a poll DOES NOT give you credits.

Moderators can:

1) Do everything Gold Member/Veteran can, plus

2) Edit.

3) Delete.

4) Close.

5) Bump.

6) Warn.

7) Ban.

8) Move.

9) Spotlight Level 1.

10) Sticky Level 1.

11) Sticky Level 2.

12) Sticky Level 3.

13) Highlight (in Blue, Green or Red colours only).

14) Edit reply.

15) Ban (reply?).

16) Delete (reply?).

17) Warn (reply?).

18) Delete (comment?).

19) Warn (comment?).

20) Ban (comment?).

21) Group message.

Super Moderators can:

1) Do everything Moderator can, plus

2) Spotlight Level 2.

3) Spotlight Level 3.

4) Check Account IP.

Administrators can:

1) Do everything Super Moderator can, plus

2) Edit (Don't ask me what this means).

The only weird part is the '[img] codes' one since I'm at Member rank but I could use that code for my signature. Hmm...

Will make the layout easier when I get my bum at the PC (currently using mobile).

Ninja edit: OK before you ask why I combined the groups together (like Newbie/Member), that's because the pairs of user groups have the exact set of permissions and seeing that I'm a lazy @r$3, I'd rather combine them all instead of doing it like 'refer to [insert user group]'; i simply find combining them to be easier though I'll put in this explanation to clear any confusion.

Post updated as of 31st March, 2016; added permissions of Moderator, Super Moderator and Administrator and credits obtained from creating a poll and voting in a poll.

Just dropping by to see the changes.
I'm personally not an active forum user anymore but I wondered how can I at least acquire my old credits back rank up again.

This really helps, good job!
